DBasia.news – Liverpool are unbeaten in the 2018/2019 Premier League. Played inconsistently in October, Liverpool are revived and competing with Manchester City to achieve the Premier League title.

Unfortunately, the fortune is not into one of their players, Divock Origi. He couldn’t compete with the teammates like Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane. Moreover, the Belgium player just played in one match.

However, the situation changed during the derby match against Everton on the 14th-week of Premier League, Sunday (2/12). Substituting Roberto Firmino at 84′, Origi successfully paid off the trust from Jurgen Klopp and securing three points for The Reds at 90+6′.

Responding to the victory and his performance in that match, Jurgen Klopp speaks up. He believes the 23-year-old player has a bright future.

“Fouls and harsh tackles happen, but in his case, it was so obvious that it (the injury) was a break in his development. At that time he was outstanding. After that, it took a long time before he felt absolutely nothing. In the Europa League final (in 2016) he was somehow ready but not completely pain-free,” Klopp said cited by Goal.

“It all changed a little bit, you lose confidence and you don’t play from here anymore. When Divock played at that time he was an unbelievable threat, he had speed, he was strong. And coming on tonight, he can finish that book and from now on everything will be fine again,” he added.

The victory against The Toffees brings Liverpool to strengthen their position as the runner-up, just two points behind the leader, Manchester City. After the match, The Reds would have the away match against Burnley on Thursday (6/12).
