DBasia.news – Eden Hazard’s great performance helped Chelsea won 2-1 against Watford on the 19th-week of Premier League, Thursday (27/12). Hazard scored two goals and Roberto Pereyra scored one goal in the match at Vicarage Road.

Chelsea really need that victory to secure the place in the Champions League zone after the 0-1 failure against Leicester City at Stamford Bridge.

Not only helping the team to achieve the victory, but Hazard is also equal to the legendary player by his 100th goal to Chelsea. He is the 10th player in Chelsea’s history who did that.

“Scoring 101 goals with this amazing club is something I will never forget, but now I think the fans, the staff, myself, the players, we want more,” Hazard told Sky Sports.

“I want to score more for this club and then try to be a legend like (Frank) Lampard, (John) Terry, (Didier) Drogba, I try to do my best.”

The role of player from Lille is getting crucial this season considering his statistic. There’s no player in the Premier League involved in the goal as much as Hazard did.

In 18 matches, he played 15 times as the starter. He scored 10 goals and gave 9 assists. Furthermore, Hazard created the highest opportunity in 50 and 52 attacks.

His progress is related to Chelsea’s tactic change under Maurizio Sarri. With the dominant ball possession (60-80%), Hazard is getting more flexible to penetrate the defensive line.

Hazard is the 10th top-scorer of Chelsea who scored 100 goals with 101 goals in total. He is under Lampard (211 goals), Bobby Tambling (202 goals), Kerry Dixon (193 goals), Drogba (164 goals), Roy Bentley (150 goals), Peter Osgood (150 goals), Jimmy Greaves (132 goals), George Mills (125 goals), and George Hildson (108 goals).

Sky Sports recorded Hazard’s 100 goals in detail: Right foot: 71, Left foot: 25, Head: 5, Inside the box: 91, Outside the box: 9, Penalties: 24, Free-kicks: 1.
