Seaman Wants Arsenal Keep Cech
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Former Arsenal goalkeeper, David Seaman, asks his former club to keep Petr Cech. Moreover, Seaman assumes Cech deserves the main position as The Gunners main goalkeeper.
Arsenal seems to let go of Petr Cech during the 2018 summer transfer market. This is related to Bernd Leno arrival from Bayern Leverkusen.
Moreover, Leno has a great reputation with Leverkusen. The 26-year-old goalkeeper is the main goalkeeper of Leverkusen for 7 seasons.
Considering the reputation, it means Leno is predicted to be the main goalkeeper of Arsenal. It means big chance Petr Cech will leave Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea also seems to bring back Petr Cech from Arsenal. The Blues promised the main goalkeeper position if Thibaut Courtois moves to Real Madrid.
However, Seaman suggests Arsenal to not let go of Petr Cech. Seaman considers the experience of the 36-year-old will be useful for The Gunners.
“He (Cech) has still got great qualities and it isn’t like he has had a bad season or anything, he still produced,” Seaman said.
“Obviously he is getting older but your game adapts, that is what I found, you might not be as sharp as what you used to be but your experience gets you into the right positions,” Seaman continued.
