Sergio Ramos cancels his debut this week
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Since joining Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) from Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos has yet to set foot on the field. Now, the veteran defender had to postpone his debut again.
Sergio Ramos was previously expected to make his PSG debut during the French Ligue 1 home match against Angers on Saturday (16/10) WIB.
However, the latest news states that Ramos still cannot play. The Spanish centre-back has yet to play a full role in training and will not play against Angers, not even when PSG take on RB Leipzig in the Champions League.
As reported by Marca, the 35-year-old defender is expected to be part of the PSG squad for the match against Angers. However, two days later, Ramos is said to be still training separately.
Ramos actually has received the green light from the medical team. However, after a long absence, Ramos is considered to still need time to recover.
PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly not in a hurry to play the Spanish centre-back. He didn’t want to put pressure on Ramos to get back into the game quickly.
PSG did not provide certainty on when Sergio Ramos would make his debut.
