Sergio Ramos chooses PSG to achor
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Sergio Ramos has decided which club he will play for next season after parting ways with Real Madrid. Being a bone of contention for many clubs, the 35 year old player finally chose Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Ramos is a free transfer after his contract with Madrid expires at the end of the 2020-2021 season. The two parties did not find an agreement to continue their professional bond.
Since then, Ramos has become the target of many clubs. He began to be linked with a number of Premier League giants such as the duo Manchester and Chelsea.
But Ramos does not seem interested in the temptation of the sparkling Premier League. He prefers to accept PSG’s offer whose value is reportedly smaller than an English club.
Reporting from Marca, Ramos will soon sign a two-year contract with PSG. The player’s agent is already in Paris to finalize the deal.
According to the same report, PSG would soon introduced Ramos along with other new recruits. Previously, Les Parisiens had indeed successfully landed Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, and Gini Wijnaldum who had already been announced.
Although the offer is smaller than the English club, Ramos certainly has considerations in choosing PSG. The opportunity to win the Champions League may be one of them.
PSG is now filled with many star players in every position. Names like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Marco Verratti, Angel Di Maria, Keylor Navas and Ander Herrera certainly don’t need to be doubted.
Especially Di Maria and Navas, Ramos must have known him as they both had strengthened Madrid. The process of adapting the Sevilla academy player should run smoothly.
