Serie A Match Held Without Spectators

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  The Italian authorities officially announced that all sporting events will be held without spectators until April 3, 2020. The decision was made due to the corona virus that has spread in several countries at this time.

This decision followed the increase in the number of positive cases of COVID-19 victims. As of March 5, there have been more than 3 thousand positive casualties, and 107 deaths in Italy.

The local government also advised Serie A clubs to regularly check up on the players and staff and protect them from the corona virus.

Players are not allowed to drink from the same bottle during matches or training sessions. Players are also prohibited from eating in the locker room and try to keep clothes and towels separate from other players.

There will be no handshake before or after the match. And certainly there will not be a mascot that goes hand in hand with the players at the start of the fight.

Players are also not recommended to touch their eyes, nose or mouth with dirty hands. Players are also required to close their mouths when coughing and sneezing, or use disposable tissues.

The training ground and locker room will be regularly disinfected, if there are players who show symptoms of the corona virus, the player must be separated from the squad.

The Serie A league is rumored to start with 6 postponed matches in the 26th giornata instead of the 27th week this week. This makes the match between Juventus vs Inter and AC Milan vs Genoa and four other matches available this week.
