Solskjaer Doesn’t Expect Manchester United to Sign Any New Players

DBasia.news – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Manchester United’s current squad can win the Premier League. He did not expect many of his team to bring in new players again.
MU in the transfer market this summer has just officially brought in two players. The two players are Jadon Sancho who landed from Borussia Dortmund for a transfer value of 76.5 million pounds and Tom Heaton who came from Aston Villa on a free transfer.
The Red Devils actually have also agreed to penetrate Raphael Varane with Real Madrid for 42 million pounds. However, Varane has not been inaugurated by MU because he is still tripping over visa problems.
Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is optimistic that his team can become champions judging from the squad they currently have. This Norwegian man emphasized that he would focus on improving the abilities of his current care children.
Manchester United are determined to win their first Premier League title since the 2012/2013 season. The Red Devils last season had to settle for finishing in second place after being 12 points behind champions Manchester City.
“I prefer to be optimistic and wrong, than to be pessimistic and right. Of course these kids can do it with maximum effort, season and sacrifice,” said Solskjaer quoted by ESPN.
“Every day is an opportunity to get closer to our target. We will unite as a team for a chance to win every game.”
“However, every day we can also get worse. So it all depends on us as the coaching staff, but also the players, to continue to improve,” he explained.
Solskjaer is quite confident with his current squad and does not really expect Manchester United to sign another player in the transfer market this summer. However, he also did not rule out, MU could be the arrival of a new name.
“Anything we can after now is a bonus. I have to say that with the two players we’ve got, we’ve strengthened the position we need to strengthen,” said Solskjaer added.
“Let’s see what happens. You never know in football. Anything can happen.”
