DBasia.news – Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti condemned his team’s appearance after the defeat to Cagliari. He called the players did not show optimal performance at all.
The defeat of Cagliari ended the Nerazzurri’s positive trends which they have shown in the last five matches in all competitions.
“In the first round, the players were unable to make good decisions. Also, the players looked doubtful and too slow when trying to move the ball,” said Luciano Spalletti.
“The players also often fail to win individual duels. The point is, the players were unable to show good performances throughout the first half and Cagliari managed to use it to score goals,” he added.
The absence of Mauro Icardi made Luciano Spalletti enter the player, Andrea Ranocchia in the 85th minute and play it as a striker. Luciano Spalletti also said that decision was one part of his tactic to equalize.
