DBasia.news – Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) felt a reat deal of happiness after eliminating Bayern Munich from the 2020-2021 Champions League quarter-finals. Not only successfully getting their revenge, Les Parisiens also received an additional gift from Neymar.

PSG were defeated 0-1 by Munich in the second leg of the quarter-finals at the Parc des Princes, Wednesday (14/4) am, WIB. But that result was enough to get them to the semifinals because of their superior aggressiveness on away goals.

This success was PSG’s perfect revenge. As is known, the French giants were defeated by the same opponent in the final match in the previous edition.

This condition also seem to have affected the mood of a Neymar. He took advantage of this moment to show his loyalty to PSG.

Neymar’s contract with PSG will expire next year. But the Brazilian star is now ready to hang on for much longer.

“This (extension with PSG) is no longer a problem. Obviously I feel very comfortable and at home here at PSG. I feel happier than ever,” Neymar told ESPN Brasil.

This statement is certainly a breath of fresh air for PSG. They were worried that Neymar would be tempted by offers from other big clubs.

The determination to defend Neymar and Mbappe

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi certainly welcomed Neymar’s wish to stay. He was even determined to keep Mbappe too.

“Neymar and Kylian have no reason to leave. We really have everything to win all the tournaments,” Al-Khelaifi told RMC Sport.

“We have a great team today. We respect the others, but we are there and remain calm because the Champions League is not over.”
