The contents of Allegri and Morata’s debate on the field is revealed

DBasia.news – Victory is a ‘rare’ thing to be achieved by Juventus in the midst of their inconsistent performance at this time. Having lost 0-4 to Chelsea and then losing 0-1 to Atalanta, Il Bianconeri won twice in a row in Serie A.

After beating the promoted Salernitana team with a score of 2-0, Juventus won 2-0 over Genoa in week 16 of Serie A at the Allianz Stadium, Monday (06/12) through goals scored by Juan Cuadrado (9′) and Paulo Dybala (82′).

A deserved win with 71% of the ball, 27 shots (12 on target), and Genoa didn’t have a single shot against Juventus at all.

Even so, there were some interesting things from the match. The moment occurred when Juventus were still leading 1-0 and Juventus striker, Alvaro Morata received a yellow card and was annoyed after fighting for the ball with Davide Biraschi.

Massimiliano Allegri pulled him out and replaced him with Moise Kean. As Morata walked towards the bench, Allegri touched his shoulder and the two exchanged words.

“You give them (Genoa) free-kicks, fouls, you have to be quiet,” Allegri said at the time to Morata who was caught on camera. “What have I done?” Morata replied.

Allegri also explained his debate with Morata. Allegri admitted pulling Morata out and not taking the risk as the Spaniard had already received a yellow card.

“He was given a card, he kept arguing and because of that, I better take him out. It’s disappointing, because Alvaro is playing well and so is the whole team,” concluded Allegri as quoted by Football-Italy.

Juventus are now approaching the top four of Serie A. Currently they are fifth in the standings with 27 points, seven points adrift of Atalanta who are fourth in the standings. In the Champions League, Juventus has already qualified for the top 16.
