The Last Dance Series, Tammy Abraham’s Source of Inspiration

By db-admin

DBasia.news – The Last Dance documentary series attracted the attention of many sports fans. The series that tells the story of Michael Jordan’s career turned out to also be an inspiration for Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham.

The Last Dance series tells the journey of Jordan’s career while defending the Chicago Bulls. There it is seen how hard the legend’s struggle to achieve success.

A piece of the story in the series turned out to be very touching to Abraham’s heart. He remembered the difficult times when given the opportunity to defend Chelsea earlier this season.

“Watching ‘The Last Dance’ motivated me. I was interested when Michael Jordan lost and made up many things in his head about what someone said to him,” Abraham told the Daily Mail.

“The words related to his appearance did not really exist. But he used it to encourage his performance to be better in the next match, even to be the greatest.”

Because of that, Abraham remembered bad memories when facing Liverpool at the European Super Cup, earlier this season. At that time he became the culprit of the defeat of the Blues for failing to score in the penalty shootout.

As a result, Abraham had received blasphemy from Chelsea fans. Some of them even have racial smell.

But that did not make Abraham fall mentally. He made up for the failure by appearing sharply in the Premier League.

“For me, the incident was similar to what happened to Michael Jordan. The point is to rise from adversity and prove to everyone that the curse was wrong,” he added.

“That experience also encouraged me to continue trying to become a great striker at the club.”

Abaraham is now a mainstay of Frank Lampard’s Chelsea up front. Of the 25 appearances in the Premier League, the 22-year-old player successfully recorded 13 goals and four assists.
