The Reason Why Pogba Played Great in France National Team, But Not in MU
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, thinks Paul Pogba performed impressively with France national team during the 2018 World Cup due to his focus. But, the situation is a bit different in The Red Devils. He will face a different match every week.
Paul Pogba is one of France key players to win the 2018 World Cup. Moreover, the former Juventus player scored a goal during the final round versus Croatia.
No wonder, many people praised Pogba’s performance. But, some others are comparing his performance for Manchester United.
“I don’t think it’s about us getting the best out of him, it’s about him giving the best he has to give,” Mourinho told ESPN FC.
“I think the World Cup is the perfect habitat for a player like him to give (their) best. Why? Because it’s closed for a month, where he can only think about football. Where he’s with his team on the training camp, completely isolated from the external world, where they focus just on football, where the dimensions of the game can only motivate.”
Paul Pogba is facing up and down during the 2017-2018 season. Moreover, Mourinho put him on the bench in some matches.
“During a season, you can have a big match then a smaller match, then one even smaller, then you can lose your focus, you can lose your concentration, then comes a big match again,” said the Portuguese manager.
Paul Pogba’s unstable performance in Manchester United raises speculation about his position in the 2018 summer transfer market. Currently, Juventus is the first team in the queue.
