This season, Salah’s performance has increased. The Egyptian player played an important role behind maintaining Liverpool’s chances of winning the Champions League and Premier League titles.

Apparently, before the season started, Mo Salah had a way of preparing himself. He contemplated by the ocean and wrote down the goals he wanted to achieve.

“I’m honest with myself. I sat down after the end of the season and thought about what to improve. I had to catch up with him,” Salah said as reported by ESPN.

“When on vacation, I am alone. I face the sea alone and write what I want to develop and pursue. The more open and honest with myself, the better. I write often,” said Salah.

“I wrote about the Champions League again and the Premier League. It motivated me during this season,” added the former Fiorentina player.

It is wrong to deny that what he has achieved so far is purely due to his own abilitie. There is a big role from his teammates.

“When you look at having a good season and wanting individual trophies, you have to win them with the team. In the first season, I scored 44 goals. So if you do it with the team, you beat individual records.”

“I hope this season we can win a trophy. That way, individual achievements will automatically come,” he added.
