There’s No Place for Cristiano Ronaldo at PSG

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Although Paris Saint-Germain is the latest club to be linked with Cristiano Ronaldo, Les Parisiens have reasons to answer this rumor.

Ronaldo did steal the spotlight in the transfer market this summer after asking permission to leave Manchester United. The Portuguese superstar was immediately linked with a number of big clubs.

Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Napoli were the three clubs that were initially seeded for Ronaldo. All three clubs will indeed play in the Champions League next season, something Manchester United cannot achieve.

However, Munich firmly rejected Ronaldo’s presence because it was deemed not according to the club’s principles. Meanwhile, Napoli’s financial strength is still in doubt to hire CR7.

Chelsea was at the forefront of signing Ronaldo. But Thomas Tuchel still seems hesitant to handle the former Real Madrid player.

According to ESPN’s report, PSG have also been offered to propose to Ronaldo. Jorge Mendes as the player’s agent has spoken directly with Nasser Al-Khelaifi as club president.

However, the offer was politely rejected by PSG. The French giants reasoned that their front line was enough as they had Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Ronaldo’s high salary was another reason PSG weren’t able to sign him. This can indeed make them violate Financial Fair Play regulations.

PSG’s refusal made Ronaldo’s options even less. It is possible that he will stay at Manchester United.
