This is how Neymar sees the 2022 World Cup
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Neymar went all out with the Brazilian national team at the 2022 World Cup. He considers this match to be his last World Cup.
Neymar is included in the list of 26 Brazilian national team players who left for Qatar. One main place in the front line of the Samba Team is almost certain to be his.
This will be Neymar’s third participation in the World Cup. In the previous two editions in 2014 and 2018, he failed to win the title for Brazil.
Therefore, Neymar is motivated to appear in Qatar. It’s arguably his best chance to lead Brazil to win the sixth World Cup trophy in history.
“I will play like it’s the last (World Cup). Me and my dad always talk to play every game as if it was the last because you don’t know what will happen tomorrow,” Neymar told Globo.
“I also can’t guarantee that I’ll be playing this tournament again. I honestly don’t know.”
At the age of 30, Neymar still has a big chance of appearing in the next edition of the World Cup in 2026. If he is able to maintain his level of play, it is possible for the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player to still participate in the 2030 World Cup.
But no one can be sure of the future. This is what makes Neymar bring out his best to make Brazil the best at the 2022 World Cup.
“Maybe I will play another (World Cup) and maybe not. There will be a change of coaching and I don’t know if the coach will like me,” he concluded.
