Thomas Tuchel Doesn’t Want Cristiano Ronaldo

By db-admin

DBasia.news – There is no longer any chance for Cristiano Ronaldo to move to Chelsea as his arrival was rejected by Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea manager.

Ronaldo has been linked with a number of clubs after submitting a transfer request to Manchester United’s top officials. Wanting to continue playing in the Champions League is considered to be the main reason.

Chelsea then emerged as one of the clubs linked with Ronaldo. The London club does need a new striker after loaning Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan.

Ronaldo’s chances of moving to Stamford Bridge had increased after Todd Boehly as the new owner was interested in the idea. The presence of the Portuguese superstar could be a marker of a new era for Chelsea.

But Boehly did not want to make a unilateral decision. He will only chase Ronaldo if allowed by Tuchel.

Tuchel had responded to Ronaldo’s rumors with a floating answer. He did not deny the need for a new striker, but this position is not a top priority.

Evidently Chelsea actually signed Raheem Sterling from Manchester City. Even though the stock of their wing attackers is quite abundant.

Tuchel’s firm stance regarding the Ronaldo transfer saga has now been leaked by Fabrizio Romano. One of the most trusted transfer experts stated that Ronaldo’s presence at Chelsea was not wanted by the tactician.

“Thomas Tuchel has decided not to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. Jorge Mendes has spoken to Todd Boehly but the final decision is always in the hands of the manager,” Romano tweeted.

“Chelsea are now focused on a different deal. Tuchel is not interested in signing Cristiano.”

Chelsea is not the first club to reject Ronaldo’s presence. Previously Bayern Munich had also expressed a similar gesture.

Chelsea’s firm gesture has made Ronaldo’s options increasingly thin. It is possible that he will change his stance and stay at Manchester United.
