DBasia.news – Thomas Tuchel, former Chelsea manager, is reportedly interested in coaching England after the 2022 World Cup.

Tuchel is still out of work after being sacked by Chelsea in just the first six games of the 2022/23 season.

The German coach was a candidate to become th new Juventus boss. He is also said to have rejected an offer from the Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen.

However, as reported by The Telegraph, Tuchel is actually interested in entering the managerial world of the national team. He is rumored to be a candidate for England boss to replace Gareth Southgate after the 2022 World Cup.

Southgate’s tenure in England has the potential to end after the four-year football celebration is over, even though he is still under contract until 2024. His position began to be in the spotlight after the Three Lions squad failed to win in their last six matches across competitions.

In the same report, Tuchel is said to be waiting for the right opportunity to return to coaching. A job in the England national team is a good opportunity for the tactician who once claimed to be comfortable with life in London.

Meanwhile, during his time in charge of Chelsea, Tuchel was able to lift the performance of a number of English players, one of which was Reece James, Ben Chilwell, and Mason Mount.
