Torreira did not Enjoy His First Season in England

DBasia.news –  Arsenal midfielder, Lucas Torreira, claimed that he did not enjoy playing in the Premier League.

“I don’t think there are many things I enjoy here in England. I think it’s better in Italy. England is a very different world,” he said.

Torreira revealed, one of the big obstacles he faced when playing in the English Premier League was a language problem. He claimed that it was very difficult to have dialogue with anyone, even with his own teammates.

“It’s very challenging when you can’t have a dialogue with anyone,” he said.

Torreira’s longing for the Italian Serie A was seen when he was present to witness several Sampdoria matches. The 23-year-old was carried off by Arsenal from Sampdoria last summer, with a transfer of 30 million euros.
