Mauricio Pochettino
DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, greeted the victory of his squad against PSV Eindhoven. Harry Kane and friends successfully revived from the left-behind situation and secured the first victory in the Champions League this season.
However, this victory hasn’t brought Tottenham to the big two. However, Pochettino believes the squad can achieve the target to qualify for round of 16 despite the two remaining matches for Spurs are difficult against Inter Milan and Barcelona, the teams defeating them in the first leg.
“If we are able to beat Inter we will be with them on seven points with one game to play. We would then be going to Barcelona to try to win the game. The belief is still there,” the coach said.
“We have the character of never giving up which is so important. I am happy always with the situation. Today we kept pushing and that victory is so important,” Pochettino concluded.
