Tottenham Manager Denied Recruiting Bale

By news-admin

DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, denied the issue of approaching Gareth Bale. According to Pochettino, it’s unbelievable.

Gareth Bale was frustrated by the fact that he seldom played in Real Madrid. Bale is considering to leave Los Blancos.

The issue made Tottenham interested to get Gareth Bale. The Wales player was previously playing for The Lilywhites before moving to Real Madrid.

However, two goals of Gareth Bale during the final round of Champions League versus Liverpool changed everything. Bale was expected to lead the front line of Los Merengues.

Moreover, Real Madrid no longer had their main megastar, Cristiano Ronaldo. They also offered Gareth Bale to be the newest leader of Los Blancos.

The situation made Gareth Bale decided to stay in Santiago Bernabeu. Moreover, Bale is no longer playing under Ronaldo.

Pochettino confirmed the issue of Tottenham’s interest to Gareth Bale. Apparently, the Argentinian manager considered it as a joke.

“I think it’s not realistic,” Pochettino laughed after the match versus Barcelona.

“I think we’re going to (complete deals), sure, (we’ll) see what happens in the next few days. If you say we need to sign, maybe,” Pochettino continued.

“But with or without injuries that was our target after we finished last season – to add some players with qualities that can help us achieve all that we want,” the Tottenham manager added.
