Toulouse Fires Coach, Alain Casanova

DBasia.news –  After a poor start to the season, making Toulouse be in third place from the bottom of league one. Toulouse and coach, Alain Casanova, were forced to go their separate ways on mutual agreement.

“Toulouse Football Club and Alain Casanova has decided on Thursday morning, by mutual agreement, to terminate his contract as a professional squad coach,” TFC said in a statement.

Toulouse added that Denis Zanko, technical director of the club’s youth academy, would become the temporary coach.

Toulouse, who has nine points from nine matches, has picked two points from its last five matches.

Casanova (58) has coached the team from 2018 after his first era in Toulouse from 2008 to 2015.
