DBasia.news –  Two Arsenal legends, Ray Parlor and David Seaman, responded to rumors of the Crystal Palace wing forward’s transfer, Wilfried Zaha, to Arsenal. Both of them did not agree in Zaha coming to the Emirates Stadium.

Latest, Arsenal under the care of Unai Emery has reportedly sent £ 40 million to Palace. Both Parlor and Seaman saw Zaha as a good player, but it would be better for Arsenal to recruit players in the area needed, namely the defender’s position.

“There is talk about Zaha, however, this is not the position that we really need and this is strange,” Seaman stated, quoted by Goal.

“I will not think about it (Zaha wearing an Arsenal jersey), I would be very surprised if he did it. I better see a good defender wearing it!”

Parlor added, it would be very strange if Arsenal really reached into their pockets to recruit the 26-year-old player. Moreover, the funds can be used to purchase other players who are more needed.

“He (Zaha) will be a good recruit, but it depends on how much money will be spent to purchase him. Reportedly 100 million pounds, a lot of money. Too much money to purchase one player,” Parlor added.

“You might see other positions that need to be strengthened as well. Depending on the money available, we all have to wait and see. He is clearly a very good player, very good quality.”
