Two Valencia Players Positive for Corona
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Defenders, Ezequiel Garay and Eliaquim Mangala are two Valencia players who are positive for the corona virus or Covid-19.
The teammate of the 29-year-old player, Ezequiel Garay on Sunday became the first La Liga player affected by the virus that has affected a number of world sporting events.
“I knew today that I am #positive for the corona virus,” Mangala said via Twitter. “I feel good and I have no symptoms related to the virus. However, I have been locked up at home and separated from my family.
“I learned that we can carry viruses without symptoms, which is why I advise everyone to follow the actions of isolating and avoiding contact with others, as much as possible, even if you feel fine,” he stated as quoted by Reuters.
Valencia traveled to Milan last month for a Champions League match against Atalanta, which was played at the crowded San Siro Stadium, before restrictions were imposed on sports in Italy – the European country most affected by the corona virus.
All football organizers in Spain have been
postponed for at least two weeks to avoid spreading the virus.
Earlier, Valencia confirmed that five of the club’s
players and staff have been tested positive for the corona virus.
