Tyrell Malacia Ready to Play in the Premier League

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Manchester United fans are now frustrated by the drama of his team. Man United started this pre-season without a single new signing.

The slow club transfer maneuver is certainly not ideal because players need time to adapt if they join a new club. It’s a risk if they come and miss pre-season. However, the management is still looking for new players, especially since many players have left.

Currently, one name that has been linked with being the first signing for Man United under Erik ten Hag is 22-year-old full-back Tyrell Malacia. He plays as a left back and currently plays for Feyenoord.

Manchester United emerged in the middle of the hunt when the player had verbally agreed to Olympique Lyonnais. Man United made a bigger offer at 15 million euros plus bonuses and was accepted by Feyenoord, just waiting for Malacia’s decision.

Man United already had three left-backs, namely Luke Shaw, Alex Telles and Brandon Williams. But Malacia is seen by Ten Hag as ideal for his style of play and would be a competitive contender for Shaw, while Telles is reportedly up for sale and Williams is back on loan.

Malacia has not officially joined Man United but his personal coach, Jordan Kroon, has been able to give an idea of how Malacia will play and his contribution to United. Kroon believes Malacia is ready to step up to play in the Premier League and join a club of the caliber of Man United.

“Tyrell is a very hard-working player and very passionate,” Kroon said as quoted by the Manchester Evening News.

“He wants to make his name known in the world. I think he is ready for the Premier League. He is very different from a lot of players and doesn’t really care about social media. He is only focused on football.”

Former Feyenoord coach and legend from the Netherlands, Giovani van Bronckhorst, also gave the same assessment. Malacia has developed well at Feyenoord to the point of being called up to the Dutch national team and is now ready to make the leap in his career.

“He followed the route I also took: academy, Feyenoord, and then a step abroad was next. He has been with Feyenoord for a long time now, at some point you feel that the time is right.

“Then you will play at a higher level with better fellow players and rise to that level. He has already done that for the Dutch national team. So if you ask me if Tyrell is ready to step up I say ‘100 per cent’.”
