U19 Indonesia Want to Measure Strength Against Thailand and China

DBasia.news – Indonesia national team coach Indra Sjafri mentioned the triangle competition against U19 Thailand and U19 China will be the moment for his squad to measure the power ahead of the 2018 U19 Asian Cup. They need the evaluation to know the weakness overlooked during the preparation.

The triangle competition will start on September 21 until September 25. The U19 China and U19 Thailand will be the opponents in the first day.

The U19 national team will play on September 23 against Thailand. Two days later, Garuda Nusantara squad will meet China.

“Hopefully these two friendly matches will be our benchmark or evaluation moment to see how far the players implement the strategy for the U19 Asian Cup,” said U19 national team coach Indra Sjafri.

“And, starting from tomorrow, we will start the preparation against Thailand and China,” he added.

Indra is training his squad in Jakarta, after the training center in Yogyakarta. After boosting their physical strength, now he wants to apply the strategy for the squad.

“Yes, this week we will start the conditioning. But also integrate it with the strategy matter,” Indra said.
