Unai Emery Discloses Terms for Arsenal to Return to the Champions League

Basia.news –  Arsenal haven’t played in the Champions League for a long time. Unai Emery, Arsenal manager, revealed the things his team had to do to get back to playing there.

Arsenal certainly failed to qualify for the Champions League 201-2020. The Gunners did not get a ticket to play to the highest caste of European competition.

Hector Bellerin and his friends failed to end the position of the top four in the Premier League final this season. After that, Arsenal were also defeated by Chelsea in the Europa League final.

Arsenal were crushed 4-1 by Chelsea in Tray Olimpiya Stadinou, Belarus, Wednesday (29/5). The Gunners did not seem to move to stop the figure of Eden Hazard.

After the match, Unai Emery considered Arsenal needed new players and have to sell several players. Emery’s request is to improve the quality of the players.

“In my opinion, this is not the right time to discuss Arsenal’s transfer strategy. I have to talk to clubs and players first,” said Unai Emery.

“We need to develop young players who have come. Maybe with the departure of several players, we can bring in some new players to Arsenal.”

“Arsenal can continue with the current team, but we need several players to be able to play in the Champions League,” he continued.

Failed to qualify for the Champions League, Arsenal only appeared in the Europa League. This is the second time in a row the Gunners failed to qualify for the European highest caste competition.
