Unai Emery Reportedly Choose Granit Xhaka as Arsenal’s Captain
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Unai Emery, according to BBC Sport reports, has chosen Granit Xhaka as Arsenal captain in the 2019-20 season.
The Spaniard introduced the voting system when he took control of Arsene Wenger at Arsenal in 2018 and was played among five players.
The five chosen players are Laurent Koscielny, Petr Cech, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil, and Xhaka.
Three of these players have now left Arsenal, leaving only Ozil and Xhaka as candidates.
BBC Sport says Emery has decided to overturn the idea of ‘five captains’ and hand over the Swiss international player, Xhaka – who has captained the Gunners in every game so far – permanent captain ban.
