DBasia.news – Jose Mourinho sackingby Manchester United wasn’t a shocking thing for Arsenal manager, Unai Emery. He thinks it’s normal because The Red Devils always set the bar high each season.
Arsenal will play against Manchester United in the fourth round of FA Cup at Emirates Stadium, Friday (25/1). Emery believes Paul Pogba and friends will give an intense attack considering their best performance.
Manchester United achieved seven consecutive victories after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over the team. Previously, under Mourinho, The Red Devils were declining.
“This team is with big players, who want to win the Premier League. This is normal. They can be in the position to win the league, but the reality is they have lost a lot of points this season,” Emery said cited by FourFourTwo.
Emery asked his players to stay focus until the end of the match. Moreover, some Manchester United players have returned to their best performance under Solskjaer.
“Now, they are very dangerous and in a good moment. Now, this team is different. I don’t know why. But this team is different and they are playing with more confidence,” Emery said.
This would be the third duel between both teams in the FA Cup whereas Arsenal act as the host. In the two previous matches, The Gunners won 5-0 (1937) and 2-1 (1988).
