Unai Emery Won’t Worry Arsenal Series of Injury

DBasia.news – 22 unbeaten matches of all competitions, that’s the fantastic record of Arsenal in the first season under the Spanish manager, Unai Emery.
But the tight schedule made the players often get injured, considering that they are participating in three different competitions, Premier League, Europa League, and the quarter-final of League Cup.
The most injured sector is the center-back. Konstantinos Mavropanos and Rob Holding couldn’t play in the near future. Meanwhile, Shkodran Mustafi also doubted to play. The same thing happens to Laurent Koscielny who just played one game after the injury.
This makes the public doubts The Gunners could continue the positive trend. But, Emery said the contrary. He believes and confirms that the squad would achieve the optimum result.
“I believe in my players. We can use another player like a center-back with a performance. I have one idea on my mind but we need to know how Laurent has recovered and whether he can play on Sunday. Every player is now ok to help in the position we need,” Emery said cited by Evening Standard.
Despite the center-back crisis, Arsenal fans could be relieved because Emery also drops the hint that Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey are 100 percent recovered and ready to play.
“The doctors said to me he thinks on Friday and Saturday he can train and can be ok for Sunday. After his injuries he’s coming back with a good work, today he performed,” the former Paris Saint-Germain manager concluded.
