Under FIGC Sanction, Gennaro Gattuso Won’t Accompany Milan VS Genoa Match

DBasia.news – Gennaro Gattuso got a sanction from FIGC after the match against Juventus in the Italian Super Cup.
AC Milan got defeated 0-1 against Juventus in the Italian Super Cup match. The match was conducted at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Jeddah, Wednesday (16/1).
Cristiano Ronaldo was the decisive player in that match. His heading created a goal at 61′ ensuring Juventus victory.
The incident happened after the final whistle when Gennaro Gattuso refused some of the referee’s decisions. The AC Milan coach approached them.
The media reported Gennaro Gattuso said the inappropriate words to the referee. Moreover, the former AC Milan midfielder also threatened them.
Consequently, FIGC punished him after the trial. He is banned from accompanying AC Milan for one match. It means Il Diavolo Rosso would play against Genoa in the Serie A match without their coach.
FIGC believes Gennaro Gattuso said the inappropriate and offensive words to the referee. Gattuso still in trouble during the medal awarding moment.
Besides Gennaro Gattuso, AC Milan also lose two players who got punished. They are Franck Kessie and the captain Alessio Romagnoli.
