The achievement makes him joining the six other players with similar achievement. His debut was the match against Finlandia on November 17th, 2004.

Even though Italy are now dominated by new faces, Chiellini is still prominent in the defensive line. With Leonardo Bonucci, Chiellini is placed to guard Azzurri’s defense from the contender.

Chiellini believes Italy will revive after the declining recent years. “We’ve got the foundations, we dominated the reigning European Champions and the issue of not scoring goals will improve with time,” Chiellini said reported by Soccerway.
