DBasia.news – Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde indicated that Lionel Messi will soon strengthen Argentina national team again. As we know, the last time Messi supported Argentina was during the defeat against France in the round of 16 in 2018 World Cup.
But, Valverde confirmed that Barcelona would get the benefit if the player decided to not join the national team because his physical condition will be better for Barcelona.
“But we know that he wants to go to the national team, and he will go. The best news for Barcelona is, if Messi goes to the national team, that he is happy, and that is what we want to happen.”
“We want him to do well wherever he is, and what he wants is to do many things with the Argentina national team,” Valverde emphasized.

Messi, 31, has scored 65 goals from 128 matches with Argentina since Agustus 2005. Unfortunately, he always failed to give the prestigious title for the national team.
Related to Messi’s performance while defeating Tottenham where the megastar contributed two goals in the 4-2 victory, Valverde was delighted to see his player felt happy.
“He came here after scoring a hat-trick against PSV and now he’s scored two goals again. Messi always shows up. He was unfortunate to hit the post twice,” Valverde insisted.
