Victor Font Predicts Ronald Koeman’s Short Career at Barcelona

Barcelona presidential candidate, Victor Font, claimed to have plans to repatriate Xavi Hernandez next season if he’s elected president. In that way, Ronald Koeman’s position is facing threats.

Currently, Font is preparing for Barcelona’s new presidential nomination which will be held in mid-March 2021. Font wants to overthrow Josep Maria Bartomeu who has been in charge since 2014.

Not only wants to replace Bartomeu, Font also wants to change the structure of the coaches. Ronald Koeman will be dismissed regardless of the outcome. Font confirmed his plans in an interview with El Larguero.

Later, Ronald Koeman’s position will be replaced by Xavi Hernandez. Currently, Xavi is in process of learning as the coach of Al-Sadd Qatar.

Bartomeu emphasized that Barcelona are preparing a plan to overhaul the composition of players. Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Frenkie de Jong, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, and Ansu Fati are some of the players whose position remains safe. Meanwhile, other players will be re-evaluated.
