DBasia.news – When speaking after Borussia Dortmund won 1-0 over Hertha Berlin, Saturday (6/6), Dortmund coach, Lucien Favre revealed the importance of Jadon Sancho to Dortmund.
After receiving a fine from the DFL for getting a haircut without wearing a mask earlier this week, Sancho appeared impressively and helped Dortmund win the match against Hertha.
When speaking after the match, Favre re-emphasized the importance of Sancho, who had suffered an injury when the Bundesliga was resumed in mid-May.
“It is important that he is here,” Favre said of Sancho, who scored a hat-trick in Dortmund’s 6-1 win over Paderborn on Sunday (5/31).
“I know Jadon well. Previously he was injured for a while. He was unable to train with the team for 3 or 4 weeks. We had to be patient with him. (however) he is back now, “Favre said as quoted by Goal.
Regarding the victory over Hertha, Favre said he was thrilled with the victory, and said that Dortmund would do their best for the rest of the season.
“It’s great that we won today,” favre continued. “Now we are leading 7 points ahead of the other two teams. But that doesn’t matter. We want to move forward like this. We have 4 games left, we will go through it one by one. We want to do the best. “
Currently, Dortmund is second in the Bundesliga standings, and although it appears to be challenging to win, Dortmund will not have much trouble becoming runner-up.
