Vinicius Junior Admits Not Being Afraid of Facing Lionel Mess

“We have lots of strong desires and I want to play in the Clasico, all players want to play in matches like this and I also like it very much. Fans must help us, but if we play like at Camp Nou we can win matches,” said Vinicius at Marca.

“We are ready for everything and Messi is a great player for those who do everything other players don’t do. Everyone looks forward to the game and we are not afraid of Messi, even though he is a great player because we have the best players in the world,” he explained.

Nevertheless, the Clasico duel is not always about Messi or Messi-Ronaldo in the past, as there are always players who often appear as protagonists who determine the final outcome of the match.
