Visiting Croatia, Ross Barkley Worried About Luka Modric

England midfielder Ross Barkley warned the teammates to anticipate two Croatian star players, Ivan Rakitic and Luka Modric.

Croatia aren’t new for England national team. In the 2018 World Cup, Harry Kane and friends have to admit their superiority from 2-1 winning in the semifinal round.

“You saw in the World Cup how fantastic he (Modric) was and Rakitic as well, he plays for a great side like Barcelona,” he explained.

“But we’ve got the players to compete with the big nations, we’ve got our identity now. We went to the World Cup and got to the semi-finals and we’re going in the right direction,” he said.

Croatia and England are in the Group A of League A 2018-2019 UEFA Nations League. Meanwhile, another team are Spain who lead the temporary standing with six points.
