Wales Keeps the Opportunities to the Final Round

DBasia.news – Wales kept their hopes of qualifying for the finals after a 0-2 win over Azerbaijan in the 2020 European Cup qualifying match at the Bakcell Arena Stadium.
Wales’ two goals were scored from Kieffer Moore’s header when the game entered the 10th minute, and Harry Wilson in the 34th minute. This victory has made them one point adrift of Hungary (12 points) who finished second.
Wales entered the arena with Wales needing victory in the last two matches to keep their hopes of qualifying for the 2020 European Cup finals. However, with a note, Croatia must beat Slovakia who have 10 points, only playing an hour after Azerbaijan’s match against Wales.
Wales’ other rival, Hungary, will face them in the final match in public before themselves in Wales.
Wales’ new goal came in the 10th minute through a header from Kieffer Moore, which began from Harry Wilson’s cross. Moore won the duel with the opposing defender then tore the net from Emil Balayev.
Harry Wilson doubled the lead on 34 minutes after maximizing a wild ball from Daniel James who previously hit the crossbar.
In the second half, Azerbaijan, who did not want to be embarrassed, took the initiative of attack. Five minutes after the whistle sounded, they created three chances through a corner.
Until the match was over, the score 0-2 to Wales’ win. With this result Wales must undergo a life and death match against Hungary on Wednesday (11/20).
