DBasia.news – Wales national team manager Ryan Giggs said he was amazed to see Liverpool’s performance this season. The former Manchester United midfielder wanted his squad in the Wales national team to follow The Reds playing style.
Liverpool has been transformed into a frightening team. After winning the Champions League last season, the Reds performed brilliantly in the Premier League. Currently, Virgil van Dijk and his friends are 25 points ahead of the second place, Manchester City.
The slick appearance received praise from Ryan Giggs. The Manchester United legend does not dismiss if Liverpool’s playing style wanted to be adapted in the Wales national team.
“I think what we have seen this year is that Liverpool are a fantastic team. The Reds are managed by a great coach Jurgen Klopp. It is very painful for me to say that as a Manchester United fan. However, they are indeed great,” Giggs said as reported by Sky Sports.
“Obviously they will continue to advance. They will win the league and deserve it. Liverpool actually has done two brilliant seasons. Last year, they pressed Manchester City.”
“They are a great team to watch. There are certain things that I took from the way Liverpool played. I took him to the Wales national team.”
As a former Manchester United, Liverpool’s success teased Ryan Giggs. The 46-year manager hopes, the Red Devils can get closer to the quality of Liverpool in the near future.
“Hopefully, Manchester United can close the gap and pursue Liverpool. However, you have to give an appreciation for Liverpool’s extraordinary performance this season,” said Giggs.
Liverpool only need two more wins to seal the Premier League title. The plan, the Premier League re-rolled out on June 17th.
