Wanting to move to Camp Nou, Silva offers himself to Barcelona

DBasia.news – Bernardo Silva, Manchester City’s playmaker was reportedly eager to join Barcelona until he finally offered himself twice to the Catalan club.

Silva has had much success at domestic level with City since joining the club in 2017. But he has never witnessed success at European level.

Currently he is still under contract with Man City until 2025. However, his future at the Etihad Stadium is often questioned.

In the last season, it was often reported that he would leave City in the summer of 2022. This is also inseparable from the news that he asked to be sold in the summer of 2021.

Bernardo Silva had time to speak about the news. He admitted that he had expressed his desire to leave Manchester City.

The reason was related to non-technical. He said he was unhappy in England.

“I felt a little alone at the time in England and I wasn’t very happy with my life. And if you’re unhappy you won’t do your job as well as when you are happy. I’m  physicallfiney, but if you don’t do your job with a smile on your face, you won’t do it either,” he told The Times.

“I spoke to the club because I am unhappy with my life here, and I want to be closer to my family. But it has nothing to do with the club.”

“I love Manchester City. I love my team-mates, I love the fans, I love the club. After that, nothing happened. I stayed, and I will always give my best for this club as long as I stay here.” Said Silva.

Bernardo Silva intends to leave Manchester City. The only goal is Barcelona.

He was even said to be desperate to join Barcelona. He was so desperate that he offered himself twice to the Catalan club.

This news was claimed by Mundo Deportivo. He is claimed to have offered himself to the Blaugrana directly between November and December last year.

The report also mentions that Silva spoke directly with Barca officials when they visited the city of Manchester in order to discuss the transfer of Ferran Torress to Camp Nou.

Silva at that time said he wanted to join Barca. But the Blaugrana officials at that time thought the Portuguese player was joking.

Silva then reiterated his desire again to the Barca officials. He sent them a short message confirming that he wanted the Blaugrana to sign him immediately.
