DBasia.news – Wales star Gareth Bale immediately left an interview with journalists when asked about his future with the national team.

Bale failed to take Wales further at Euro 2020 after his team was defeated by Denmark four goals without reply in the top 16 match which was held at the Johan Cruijff Arena, Saturday (26/6/2021).

Denmark’s goals against Wales which was guarded by Danny Ward were each created by Kasper Dolberg (two goals), Joakim Maehle and Martin Braithwaite.

Before the start of Euro 2020, there were rumors that this would be Bale’s last appearance with the Wales national team on the international stage.

After Wales’ steps stopped in the top 16, BBC journalists also tried to ask whether the match against Denmark was their last match with Wales.

Hearing that question, Bale chose not to answer it. The 31 year old player even walked away from the interview area.

Apart from Bale’s future in Wales, what is still a mystery is at which club Bale will play for the upcoming 2021/22 season.

In the 2020/21 season, he was loaned by Real Madrid to his former club, Tottenham. The duration of the loan is only one season. This means that Bale will have to return to Los Blancos this summer.

The presence of Carlo Ancelotti as the new coach of Real Madrid seems to be a breath of fresh air for Bale. The reason, Bale was Carletto’s mainstay player in his first period in charge of the Spanish capital club.
