When Rooney Met Erick Thohir

DBasia.news – Audi Field, the newest home for Major League Soccer (MLS) has officially established. Key people like Erick Thohir and football star Wayne Rooney attended the ribbon cutting ceremony of Audi Field.
Rooney is the newest recruitment of D.C United this season. Ex-Manchester United player decided to move to MLS because D.C United is now having their own stadium.
Besides Erick and Rooney, club owner Jason Levien and mayor of D.C., Muriel Bowser, also attended the ceremony of Audi Field stadium.
“It’s an honor for me to present Audi Field for D.C. United’s fans, just like my promise couple years ago when I bought the club with my partner Jason Levien,” said Erick on the release given to BolaSkor.
“The presence of Audi Field is a sign of new era, hopefully, will bring back D.C. United to its glory moment,” continued Head of The Asian Games 2018.
After the ribbon cutting ceremony, there was a celebration party for the journalist, supporters, and D.C. community member. Indonesian Ambassador to the United States Budi Bowoleksono came as a guest.
The supporters were given chance to look around the area of Audi Field, while D.C. United players like Wayne Rooney, Luciano Acosta, Paul Arriola, Yamil Asad, Steven Birnbaum, and Darren Mattocks were having a meet and greet session.
