Why did Jurgen Klopp receive a red card?

By db-admin

DBasia.news – An important victory for Liverpool over Manchester City, in the Premier League week, had to be marred by Jurgen Klopp’s red card.

The German manager was sent off by the referee with less than five minutes remaining. Klopp finally admitted that he was guilty.

Why did Klopp get red carded by the referee? The answer is Klopp’s reaction was too excessive in confronting the match kit.

Klopp considered that Liverpool should have had a chance after Mohamed Salah was fouled by Bernardo Silva in a situation where the Reds launched a counter-attack.

It was not obtained, and Klopp reacted too harshly to the match kit, in this case Anthony Taylor. After the match, Klopp admitted he made a mistake.

“Yeah, it’s about emotions, of course. So, of course, a red card was my fault. I went upstairs at the time, I don’t think I was being disrespectful to anyone, but when you look back at the pictures, I’ve known myself for 55 years that the way I look at this moment deserves a red card,” he stated.

“I know that, who cares what I say? I made a mistake at the time and that’s okay, but I think a bit as an excuse I wanted to mention, how can you not blow the whistle for that offence? How is that possible? And I hope I can get an explanation.”
