Wijnaldum says PSG is similar to Liverpool

DBasia.news – Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) officially introduces Georginio Wijnaldum. The player said that PSG’s style of play was similar to Liverpool.
PSG has brought in a new team. He is Georginio Wijnaldum who was brought in from Liverpool.
The Dutch player’s contract with the Reds expires at the end of last June. Wijnaldum did not extend it, who was eventually able to leave on a free transfer.
PSG tied Wijnaldum with a contract until 2024. The 30 year old player is believed to be immediately filling the main squad.
Reporting from Marca, Georginio Wijnaldum said he was happy to join PSG. He is looking for new challenges.
“PSG really wants me and we have a mission to win every competition. Moreover, PSG is a fast-growing club,” said Wijnaldum.
“So when PSG came, I immediately said yes,” he continued.
Georginio Wijnaldum explained that he would not have too much trouble adapting to PSG’s style of play. Because according to him, PSG and his former club, Liverpool have a similar way of playing!
“At Liverpool, I played attacking football and that suited me,” he explained.
“And PSG, is a team that also plays like that,” he continued.
Georginio Wijnaldum has played for Liverpool for five years, from 2016 to 2021. The central midfielder has made 237 appearances in all competitions with 22 goals and 16 assists.
Wijnaldum helped Liverpool win the Premier League title and the Champions League. Will he be able to make memories with PSG again?
