Willian Will Sign a New Contract at Chelsea

DBasia.news –  Chelsea are rumored to be giving a new two-year contract to Brazilian midfielder, Willian.

Willian scored 52 goals in 292 appearances in his six-year career for Chelsea, with the 30-year-old’s contract remaining in 12 months.

Most recently, Chelsea seemed to have stuck to the policy of only giving a one year contract extension for players over 30 years old. However, club officials acted away from the restrictions when they provided David Luiz with a longer contract earlier this year.

Chelsea are now ready to give a new contract to Willian that lasts until the end of the 2021/22 season.

Willian was linked with a number of big European clubs who want to take advantage of the condition of the midfielder, but with the new contract opportunity, he will last longer with the Blues.
