Winning 2-1 From SPAL, Inter Milan Replaces Juventus at the Top of the Serie A Standings

DBasia.news –  In the 14th match of Serie A, Sunday (1/12) PM, Inter Milan won the victory over SPAL with a score of 2-1. Lautaro Martinez contributed two Inter Milan victory goals in minutes 16 and 41, while SPAL’s single goal was scored by Mattia Valoti in the 57th minute.

Inter Milan dominated possession at the beginning of the game. However, the defense of the two teams were still equally strong so it was challenging to penetrate until the 15th minute.

Thanks to this victory, Inter are now perched at the top of the Serie A standings, displacing Juventus who in the previous match could only draw 2-2 against Sassuolo.

Not only successfully shifting Juventus from the top of the Serie A standings, Inter Milan also carved the best results in the club’s history at the start of the season with 12 wins from the first 14 matches. Previously, this impressive record has been recorded by Juventus in the 1949-50 season and Napoli in the 2017-18 season.
