Winning at Wolverhampton’s turf, Arsenal opens hope to the European Zone

DBasia.news – Arsenal succeeded in stealing points from home to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 2019/2020 continued Premier League. The Gunners won two goals without reply over the Wolves.

In the 30th minute, opportunities were also created for the host. Traore crossed and was struck by Leander Dedoncker with a header, but the ball went wide of Arsenal’s goal that was guarded by Emiliano Martinez.
Nketiah also created an opportunity in the 35th minute when the deflection ball was at him and he immediately kicked the ball. Rui Patricio deftly brushed off the ball hitting the pole and ended in a corner kick.
Coming to halftime, Arsenal were able to steal the advantage. At minute 43 Kieran Tierney’s cross was hit by the Wolves’ deflection, then a wild ball was struck by Bukayo Saka. The position became 1-0 and lasted until the first half.
The game in the second half was the same, but Wolves attacked to score with a golden opportunity created in the 64th minute. Traore stayed one-on-one with Martinez but his shot went wide on the side of the goal.
A number of changes occurred at both clubs. In the last 10 minutes Arteta’s matches included Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira, Ainsley-Maitland-Niles), Joe Willock and Alexandre Lacazette. While Santo included Pedro Neto and Diogo Jota.
Arteta’s turnover went well. Two substitutes, Joe Willock worked with Lacazette who outwitted Conor Coady and broke into the Wolves goal. 2-0 to Arsenal further away.
Five minutes of added time ended in the second half and no more goals were scored. Arsenal won 2-0 over Wolves and kept hope in the Champions League zone.
