By db-admin
DBasia.news – The former Barcelona player who is currently the coach of Al Sadd’s team Xavi Hernandez advises his former club in the Champions League competition.
It was said by Xavi that the Catalan team had to start changing their mindset about the Champions League. Barcelona must make the Champions League a target no longer an obsession.
“I think the Champions League is no longer an obsession for Barcelona but a target that must be achieved,” said Xavi.
Added Xavi, if the Champions League competition is considered as a target that must be challenged by Lionel Messi et al. That way, the best results are not impossible for them to achieve.
“The Champions League should be a challenge because if you are obsessed then it is nothing more than counterproductive than you want to achieve,” Xavi added.
The message of the former Catalan team captain is certainly quite useful for El Barca. Because Ernesto Valverde’s team started the Champions League opener with unsatisfactory results.
