Xavi might not become Barcelona’s Coach

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Barcelona’s ambition to make Xavi Hernandez as a new coach was strongly rejected by Al Sadd as the club’s owner. The final decision is now in the hands of the person concerned.

Xavi became the favored to occupy Barcelona’s coaching position after the departure of Ronald Koeman. The 41-year-old maan is believed by many to be able to restore the big name of the Blaugrana.

Despite his lack of experience, Xavi is very familiar with Barcelona’s typical tiki-taka philosophy. He applied it well in Al Sadd.

As a coach, Xavi is also proven to have a winning mentality. The achievement of seven titles in the last two years in charge of Al Sadd confirms this.

But Al Sadd firmly refused to let Xavi head to Barcelona. They are in a strong position as they still have a contract until 2023.

That means Barcelona have to pay compensation for hijacking Xavi. Meanwhile, their budget is very limited as they are still experiencing a financial crisis.

According to Marca’s report, the ball is now in Xavi’s hands. He will only be allowed to move to Barcelona if he requests it directly from Al Sadd’s management.

For the time being, Barcelona waited for Xavi’s response. They did not even negotiate officially with the Al Sadd.

Xavi’s decision

Interestingly, Xavi also has not shown clearly the desire to accept Barcelona’s proposal. He chose to focus on his career in Qatar.

This was reiterated by Xavi after bringing his team to a 4-1 win over Al Expert in the Qatar League continued, Saturday (30/10). He immediately shifted his focus to the next match and ignored Barcelona’s rumors.

“A difficult game will come in the next game. Our target is to win and we will work hard to achieve it,” Xavi told the club’s official website.

Al Sadd will indeed challenge Al-Duhail on Wednesday (3/11). The two teams who differ by three points will bet the top of the standings in this match.
