Zanetti Believes Inter Will Be Back to Domination

DBasia.news –  Javier Zanetti believes Inter Milan will be the team dominating the Serie A and Europe competition in the near future. He thinks Luciano Spalletti, Lautaro Martinez, and Mauro ICardi could achieve that mission.

The duet between Spalletti and Icardi last season raises the expectation to bring back Nerazzurri back in the Champions League. The presence of Lautaro Martinez as the duet for Icardi would bring back the glory to Giuseppe Meazza.

“We were reaching the apex of an era. Being back in the Champions League is already a starting point, but we have what it takes to do well,” Zanetti said quoted by Football Italia.

“Luciano Spalletti is doing a great job as Coach and it’s up to him to decide. When it’ll be possible, they will play together. I am convinced that great players can always co-exist. I hope that Icardi can become a symbol of Inter. He seems very happy and I hope he continues with us for a long time,” he continued.
