Zappacosta Absent for 4-5 Months

DBasia.news – Roma wing-back Davide Zappacosta should be out for about 4-5 months after undergoing surgery on the ACL.
Earlier, the Giallorossi had announced Zappacosta suffered an injury to the ligament in the right leg.
After the announcement, it was followed by news that the 27-year-old player had undergone a successful operation.
Sky Sport Italia estimates, the player will be absent for 4-5 months. Interestingly Zappacosta’s status is only a loan in Rome.
Add to this the fact, Roma had the option to send Zappacosta back to Chelsea in January.
Even so, the Giallorossi have confirmed Zappacosta will undertake an initial rehabilitation phase with the team.
